Doctor Visit

This is my motto. Keep it simple stupid, live your day dream thank God, Love with all your heart and laugh when you feel like crying. It's really that simple. I have been going through a season in my life lately. Everything changed so fast for me I guess I needed some time to catch up to it all. Today I am feeling more grounded, more present. Today I am going to be my best and not let the difficult people in my life get in the way of my reality or my happiness. Today I will trust God and remember I am not in charge.

The weekend was busy I had a long to do list. Tim worked hard on Sunday after church building the goat shelter.Mom got home right around supper time. She had gone to Florida to have a yard sale. She is plum worn out. This trip took a lot out of her. She has a doctor visit today. I guess I will take this time to get myself ready for the day, get my make up on and throw my hair up. It looks to be a pretty day here in Southwest Ga. I look forward to getting outside when we get back.

We were at the doctors office for 3 1/2 hours, most of that time was spent waiting. They were very slow. Mom has conjunctive heart failure and a leaking valve on top of end stage COPD and severe emphysema.

The Doctor sent her home with a couple new prescriptions and a heart monitor. She has to wear her monitor for 30 days. She has been having shortness of breath and a lot of dizzy spells. She is having to use her walker again. Her feet and ankles are swelling now too. Poor thing, she is having a hard time but through it all she keeps her sense of humor. We got back home and Mom took a nap while I worked in the garden before preparing supper.
