Not Today Devil

The second I think I have it figured out is the very second I fail. I have learned not to doubt that God has a plan for me. I am only sorry it took me so long to listen. I can see now where the door has been opened for me, and I can see where I lent on my own understanding and slammed it right in my own face. Today I answer when the Lord knocks and I obey his commandments while giving thanks for all of my lessons and blessings. He keeps his promises for since I have surrendered to his will my path has indeed been straight. He keeps me humble and he keeps me sober.

Today is a brand new day , and that old devil has already set a trap for me. I almost fell into it. He is always on the prowl to kill, steal and destroy. Not today devil, not today. You have to be careful with facebook it is full of emotional boobie traps just waiting to snare you. Not everyone on your friends list is a friend.

I am still on the lesson of loving difficult people I sure hope I start getting this right soon. I keep repeating ,the Lord's servant must not be quarrelsome but kind to everyone, able to teach, patiently enduring evil, correcting his opponents with gentleness ... That's really hard when all you want to do is smack the pee out of someone. but I wont do that, not today, not today devil!

The sun is shining, it looks like it's going to be a nice day here in Southwest Ga. My air decided to go on the fritz yesterday and the repairman said we need a new compressor or a new unit... We will talk to him again on Monday to see which we should do. So we opened the windows and went to Walmart and bought a fan. . So for right now we will make due. Tim is outside working away, he is putting barb wire on the fence. He seems to be doing a lot better since the doctor removed that cyst. I am so grateful for him and his loving heart. He is a wonderful husband and father.

Things are coming together here on the homestead our fence is almost done, our garden is starting to grow the goats are doing their thing all I need now are some chickens and that will just about complete our little farm. I really enjoy this life over the one we used to have , life in a big city isn't all that great. I am more the small town kind of girl.
