Dr Visit

Are you a proverbs 31 woman? Are any of us? I certainly try daily to be but somehow I fall short in one way or another. One of these days I hope to get it right. It's usually with my tongue that I fail. Something not so nice will come out.... I am working on that. Everyday I try my hardest to be the best I can be to give God glory, honor my husband be a good mother and daughter and friend. While doing the work around my house and helping others. You would think it wouldn't be so hard.... Let's see how I do today.

Mom and I went to her Pulmonary doctor this morning . Everything is fine this was just a routine visit. They got the results back from her breathing test and well we were surprised by the level of lung capacity she has left. They said a person with a healthy set of lungs will score in the high 80's and up while she scored at 19, we were a bit shocked to hear that. Even knowing she is in end stage COPD. They changed a couple of her medicines and called in a new test, we have another appointment set in 3 months. They are taking good care of her here, she has a echocardiogram next month followed by a visit to her cardiologist. She takes the news in stride and does what they tell her to do. She is a trooper. Her birthday is right around the corner. I think she is starting to get a little excited about her party. She asked for a carrot cake and ice cream :)

Now it's time to get busy around here, I have to finish cleaning these carpets and figure out what I am going to do about supper. I hope you have a great day today.
