Full Steam

Today has been pretty productive. I have been cleaning and doing laundry all morning. I just woke Mom from her nap and made her lunch in time for her soap. She is into The Bold and the Beautiful. She missed it yesterday when we were at the hospital getting her tests done. That didn't make her very happy after missing it Thursday and Friday due to the March Madness basketball games. lol

In between cleaning and caring for her I managed to get myself put together so I don't look a total hag when my husband gets home. lol Now it's time to start supper then go outside and tend to the animals. I am cooking my collard greens, meatloaf and cornbread tonight may even make a lemon bread for desert. I love cooking for my husband thats one thing that brings me joy.

I am pretty proud of how our little farm is shaping up. It's all coming together bit by bit, things are starting to flow now. I think I am going to get some baby chicks soon. They are just so stinkin cute. TSC will have them in any day now, I love going and looking at them, they wont let you hold them until you buy them though. Last year they had ducklings too, oh my goodness they are adorable. I just love that store!

Well, Jug Head doesn't like collard greens but Betty does. I gave them banana peels and collard greens along with their grain and hay. Betty is getting to where she wants to come up to me but is still a little shy. Soon we will be friends.

Well I need to wash the supper dishes and water my flowers then I can relax a bit before tomorrow comes. I hope you have had a wonderful day today.
