Mom's Makeover Day

Today was a busy day for us. First stop this morning was taking Mom for her very first pedicure. She loved it, this will be the first of many to come. She wants one of those massage chairs for the house. :) She got the full treatment and a pretty light grey polish. Next stop the beauty parlor where Becky did an amazing job cutting and styling Mom's hair. What a transformation. She looks like a Southren Belle now for sure! Her wheelchair made it all possible, without it she would be housebound. She still has her share of work to do getting in and out of the car and chair, and gets tired fast. Her legs just don't want to work and she can't balance on her own. She is a trooper though, doing her share of the work. We got lunch at Chick-fil-A another first for her, popped in the grocery store and then came home.

Now I need to get her on her Trilogy Machine for awhile while I get some chores done and cook supper. I tell ya life is busy here on the homestead.
